Pay with Ease in Singapore: Scan & Pay with PPCBank Mobile App

Published Date: September 14, 2026

For PPCBank customers travelling to Singapore, paying for everyday purchases can now be as simple as opening the PPCBank Mobile App and scanning a QR code.

Through PPCBank’s Scan & Pay service, customers can make cross-border QR payments in Singapore using their PPCBank Mobile App, providing a convenient alternative to carrying cash or relying solely on physical payment cards while travelling.

The service is part of the growing connectivity between Cambodia’s KHQR payment system and international QR payment networks, giving PPCBank customers greater flexibility when making payments overseas.

For travellers, this convenience can make a difference in everyday situations – from buying food and drinks to shopping or paying for other purchases. Instead of handling cash for each transaction, customers can use their smartphones to complete payments digitally.

The service is also designed to support PPCBank customers who spend longer periods in Singapore, including students, workers and business travellers who may need a simple and convenient way to make payments during their stay.

With digital payments becoming an increasingly important part of everyday commerce, cross-border QR connectivity is helping make international transactions more accessible while supporting closer links between Cambodia and other markets.

PPCBank’s Scan & Pay service allows customers to make transactions of up to 10 million KHR per transaction, with a maximum daily limit of 10 million KHR. Customers can make multiple transactions without a limit on the number of transactions, and the service is free of charge.

For customers, the combination of QR convenience and digital banking means there is less need to plan every small purchase around cash. Payments can be made directly through the PPCBank Mobile App, helping provide a straightforward and familiar payment experience while abroad.

The service also reflects the broader development of Cambodia’s digital payment ecosystem. KHQR has expanded beyond Cambodia through cross-border payment connectivity with a number of regional markets, including Singapore, allowing PPCBank customers to take the convenience of QR payments with them when travelling.

For PPCBank, expanding cross-border payment capabilities is part of its wider focus on digital banking and customer convenience. As more PPCBank customers travel overseas for tourism, education and business, the ability to access familiar digital payment services can help make international transactions easier and more convenient.

Mr. Lee Jin Young, President of PPCBank, said the bank’s focus was on making banking more convenient as customers increasingly move across borders.

“Cross-border QR payments are changing the way people manage their everyday spending when they travel. By making it possible for our customers to use a familiar digital banking experience in Singapore, we are helping make international payments simpler, more convenient and more accessible,” he explained.

He added that PPCBank would continue investing in digital solutions and partnerships to expand its cross-border payment capabilities.

“As financial connectivity continues to grow, our goal is to ensure that customers can transact with greater ease and confidence wherever their journeys take them. We will continue to explore opportunities that bring practical benefits to our customers and strengthen Cambodia’s connection with the wider digital economy,” he said.

With a simple QR scan through the PPCBank Mobile App, customers can enjoy greater convenience when making everyday payments in Singapore – taking the familiarity of digital banking beyond Cambodia’s borders and making payments abroad feel a little easier.
