Position : Liquidity Risk Management Officer

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Market and Liquidity Risk Management and Reporting
    • Assist in-charged Assistant Manager to :
      • Prepare, review and update the semi-annual risk management plan and submit to the manager/director for the review and approval.
      • Develop, revise or update policies and relevant guidelines
      • Maintain documents (hard and soft) for those policies and relevant guidelines in the secure manner and in accordance with the Bank’s policy.
      • Keep abreast and participate in reviewing of latest risk management techniques and industry standards and practices for development, amendment and update.
      • Check the requirements of National Bank of Cambodia (NBC) and other relevant regulatory bodies on the financial risk, and update checklist for internal control.
      • Facilitate/work with business units in conducting financial analysis and address the important issues related to the Market and Liquidity risks, analyzing and validating the identified risks, proposing the additional controls, and producing the reports and submitting to the assistant manager/manager/director for review and approval.
      • Make recommendations to manage market and liquidity risk exposures.
      • Follow-up and monitor the progress of actions taken responding to the result of identifies risk and submits the reports to the in-charged assistant manager/manager/ director for review and approval.

 

  • Training
    • Assist in-charged Assistant Manager to :
      • Prepare/update training materials and propose for the training schedule/plan to the manager/director for the review and approval.
      • Conduct the scheduled trainings to branches and department.

 

  • Others
    • Prepare daily JB’s reports and submit to in-charged assistant manager/manager for the review and submit to JB team.
    • Prepare/issues letters/requests to branches and/or departments.
    • Other tasks assigned by (Assistant) Manager/Director.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, auditing or equivalent qualification;
  • At least 2 year experience in related field; finance skill is a plus.
  • Khmer and English communication in verbal and writing; Korean is plus.
