Phnom Penh – To put love in the hearts and smiles on the faces of orphans this International Children’s Day, PPCBank, Cambodia’s leading commercial bank, brought a donation of US$ 5,000 to Branch Center, together with study materials for the more than 100 orphans and at-risk children at the orphanage in Phum Lech Vat in the Kambol district of Phnom Penh. The money was collected through PPCBank’s fundraising campaign between May 3rd and 26th, 2023, with the bank matching 100% of those donated funds. Socials Coffee also donated a portion of sales revenue during their promotion period to this charitable cause.

PPCBank, one of the leading commercial banks in Cambodia, is honored to contribute another $1,000 to Cambodian Red Cross for their 160th anniversary of World Red Cross Day to express our full support on their humanitarian work​ and to keep building community resilience through alleviating difficulties of the most vulnerable people in order to improve the living standards of Cambodian people.

The orphans and vulnerable children of Branch Center need our help!

Through a charity event, the aim of which is to share love, smiles, and warmth with the orphans and at-risk children of Branch Center, PPCBank would like to call on everyone to donate any amount they can afford to provide food, education, and most importantly, loving care, to these needy children.

Phnom Penh, Cambodia, October 28, 2022 : PPCBank has provided much needed relief to 121 families in flood-hit Kampong Thom province. The flood aid was made possible by the generous donations of PPCBank customers, staff and members of the public, in response to a special 10-day donation drive which PPCBank announced on October 17th.

PPCBank has launched a donation drive to aid flood victims in Kampong Thom province.

PPCBank customers, staff and members of the public are invited to donate any amount that will help to provide relief to our fellow Cambodians who face devastating consequences from the recent flooding.

Phnom Penh: PPCBank has delivered on its promise to provide free eye surgery to those who were screened as part of its “New Vision” project in Kampong Thom Province on May 28th. In collaboration with the Khmer Sight Foundation, more than 200 underprivileged people were screened for eye problems, more than 20 of whom were found to be in need of surgery. Those patients have now been brought to Phnom Penh for free surgeries, all supported by PPCBank.

Kampong Thom, Cambodia, May 28th, 2022- PPCBank, in collaboration with the Khmer Sight Foundation, brought free eye checkups as part of its ‘New Vision Project’ to hundreds of underprivileged people who suffered from eye diseases in Kampong Thom Province on May 28th 2022.

PPCBank has inaugurated a new building with five classrooms for Tonle Oum Primary School students. The building was officially opened on February 24, 2022.

The donation is in line with PPCBank’s belief that education is the key foundation for a country’s development, with it boosting the economy, improving social morality and reducing poverty.

Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, February 14, 2022 – For the second time, PPCBank has handed land back to its owners in Siem Reap Province after extensive landmine clearance work by the humanitarian NGO, APOPO and its award-winning ‘HeroRATs’. This second handover ceremony was even more special, with PPCBank’s 2021 fundraising drive involving members of the public. Together with generous contributions from PPCBank staff and clients, the total funds raised across 2021 increased to $10,000.

Phnom Penh, 16 November 2021 – PPCBank has thanked all donors who supported its second “APOPO Fundraising Campaign”. The fundraising drive came to an end on 12 November 2021. The bank’s clients, together with its staff, raised a total of $1,065 Donations were matched dollar-for-dollar by PPCBank. The bank has also donated a further $8,935 to bring the grand total to $10,000.

We know life is tough during the pandemic, we really do, but few people are having as hard a time as those living with the constant threat of landmines in Siem Reap.

That’s why we at PPCBank have been asking for donations from our generous and compassionate clients for this extremely heart-warming campaign. We’re matching 100% of the received donations from all of you.
