Customers and staff of PPCBank pitched their donation and sent basic necessities to flood victims

With the generous donation from PPCBank customers, staff and us, we collected around 10,000 USD to support the flood victims in Pursat and Battambang provinces with the good coordination from the National Committee for Disaster Management. For both missions, we are able to contribute a total of 400 drinking water bottles (20 liters/bottle), 850 cases of noodle, 600 packs of canned fish, and 100 packs of fish sauce. Thank you for entrusting us with your budget on this donation.

PPCBank helps students to pursue their dream through scholarship

It’s our great pleasure to be part of Cambodia’s change through our CSR; together with Jeonbuk Bank we mark a new chapter of our CSR activity where we offer a full scholarship to 12 students to pursue their bachelor degree in the university. PPCBank supports landmine clearance initiative in Cambodia

Phnom Penh, Cambodia, August 27, 2020 – PPCBank aids the humanitarian landmine clearance project of APOPO, a non-profit organization that clears Cambodian land, removing unexploded landmines and explosives.

Years of war left approximately 1,000 km2 of land surface in Cambodiawith indiscriminately planted landmines and explosives. This has resulted in over 40,000 mine amputees, and placed Cambodia as one of the most mine-affected countries in the world.

PPCBank’s Parent bank “Jeonbuk bank” brings hope Cambodia

On 10th August 2016, CEO of Jeonbuk Bank, Yim Yong-tiack whose bank recently seated as the parent bank of Phnom Penh Commercial Bank has paid visit to Hebron Medical Center in Phnom Penh. PPCBank which has been operating for 7 years since its establishment in 2008 with total asset of 414 million as of 2015 has recently been acquired by JB financial group with its largest shareholder to be Jeonbuk Bank.

PPCBank Gives More to Local Community

On 28th October 2016, PPCBank’s parent bank “JB Financial Group” in collaboration with volunteer medical team of Department Health from South Korea has contributed medical checkup and medicine to 250 patients at Tropang Kroleung Village, Kompong Speu Province. The activities were held at Kwanju Clinic which establish since 2014.

Donation for the victims in Western Japan

PPCBank sends our condolences and deepest sympathies to those affected by the recent heavy rains and flooding in Western Japan. To offer our support to the victims, PPCBank will donate USD $5,000 to the Japanese Chapter of the Red Cross.

Donation for the victims at Kampong Speu & Koh Kong

This rainy season has been hard on several provinces; many are forced to leave their houses behind to stay in shelters.

Our team is going to Kampong Speu and Koh Kong, provinces affected by flood, to deliver packages of basics: dry food and drinking water to about 400 families.

We deeply appreciate everyone’s contribution to this mission. During one week with your help we raised US $1,869.66; with additional US $9,000 from PPCBank, volunteers delivered drinking water, rice and canned fish to 750 families affected by the recent flood in 2 areas: village Phnom Sruouch in Kampong Speu, and village Sre Ambel in Koh Kong.
