PPCBank Helps Over 121 Flood-Hit Families in Kampong Thom Province

Phnom Penh, Cambodia, October 28, 2022 : PPCBank has provided much needed relief to 121 families in flood-hit Kampong Thom province. The flood aid was made possible by the generous donations of PPCBank customers, staff and members of the public, in response to a special 10-day donation drive which PPCBank announced on October 17th.

Underprivileged Patients of Kampong Thom Get Free Eye Surgeries Under PPCBank’s New Vision 2022

Phnom Penh: PPCBank has delivered on its promise to provide free eye surgery to those who were screened as part of its “New Vision” project in Kampong Thom Province on May 28th. In collaboration with the Khmer Sight Foundation, more than 200 underprivileged people were screened for eye problems, more than 20 of whom were found to be in need of surgery. Those patients have now been brought to Phnom Penh for free surgeries, all supported by PPCBank.


PPCBank inaugurates Tonle Oum Primary School’s new building

PPCBank has inaugurated a new building with five classrooms for Tonle Oum Primary School students. The building was officially opened on February 24, 2022.

The donation is in line with PPCBank’s belief that education is the key foundation for a country’s development, with it boosting the economy, improving social morality and reducing poverty.


PPCBank & APOPO Hold Second Land Handover After Landmine Clearance

Siem Reap Province, Cambodia, February 14, 2022 – For the second time, PPCBank has handed land back to its owners in Siem Reap Province after extensive landmine clearance work by the humanitarian NGO, APOPO and its award-winning ‘HeroRATs’. This second handover ceremony was even more special, with PPCBank’s 2021 fundraising drive involving members of the public. Together with generous contributions from PPCBank staff and clients, the total funds raised across 2021 increased to $10,000.


PPCBank Cheers Support from Donors for APOPO Fundraising Campaign

Phnom Penh, 16 November 2021 – PPCBank has thanked all donors who supported its second “APOPO Fundraising Campaign”. The fundraising drive came to an end on 12 November 2021. The bank’s clients, together with its staff, raised a total of $1,065 Donations were matched dollar-for-dollar by PPCBank. The bank has also donated a further $8,935 to bring the grand total to $10,000.

Customers and staff of PPCBank pitched their donation and sent basic necessities to flood victims

With the generous donation from PPCBank customers, staff and us, we collected around 10,000 USD to support the flood victims in Pursat and Battambang provinces with the good coordination from the National Committee for Disaster Management. For both missions, we are able to contribute a total of 400 drinking water bottles (20 liters/bottle), 850 cases of noodle, 600 packs of canned fish, and 100 packs of fish sauce.
