Phnom Penh Commercial Bank (PPCBank) announced its new president Chang Moo Shin and $36 million paid-in capital increase to be among the first banks meeting the new requirement of NBC registered capital.

When new Korean shareholders boosted Phnom Penh Commercial Bank (PPCBank) with a $20 million capital increase this year they had placed the commercial bank, then already among Cambodia’s largest, on a path primed for further growth and pioneering developments.

As a result of Korean banking know-how and increased capital, PPCBank has been able to further its ambitions in the Cambodian market.

On 5th May 2017, VISA Inc has celebrated an evening of appreciation with its clientele bank in Cambodia. The event “Cambodia Client Appreciation Night” was held at Sofitel Phokeethra, Phnom Penh, and was participated 26 banks who are members of VISA Inc.

Aside from expressing its appreciation to its clients, the event was rejoiced through awards and recognition to the top-performing banks.
