On August 6, 2025, PPCBank demonstrated its contribution to supporting the Cambodian people by donating food aid packages to displaced citizens currently sheltering in Chong Kal District, Oddar Meanchey Province. This humanitarian initiative was made possible through the generous contributions of PPCBank’s customers, staff, and members of the public.
PPCBank Provides Food Aid Packages to Support Displaced Families in Oddar Meanchey Province
The donation packages consisted of 5 tons of rice, 250 boxes of instant noodles, 250 boxes of fish sauce, 250 boxes of soy sauce, 100 boxes of drinking water, and other essential supplies.
This charitable effort is a heartfelt gesture of solidarity from the leaders, customers, and staff of PPCBank to the Cambodian people who have been evacuated to safer areas. It also serves as a powerful expression of the spirit of mutual aid, which is an enduring source of strength for our nation.
Mr. Lee Jin Young, President of PPCBank, said, “The consequences of the war have brought immense devastation – the destruction of property, and the loss of lives, including both soldiers and innocent civilians. For those who are not familiar with Cambodia, let me share the nation’s true desire: peace. I believe the Cambodian people deeply yearn for peace as well.”
He added, “PPCBank is committed to supporting the community in these difficult times. Aside from food aid, we are providing essentials like clean water, tents, and supplies for children, including drawing materials and colors to help them find moments of joy and peace amidst hardship.”
